Team Tash

IMG_1720Hi Everyone! I’m Tash and I am Apprentice Youth & Community Worker for WEB.

I first came to WEB when I was 9 years old as a member of the Young Women’s Group Service. At the time my confidence was quite low and I was searching for somewhere I could have fun, make friends and feel safe. Enter the Young Women’s Group!

As part of this service I was invited to attend some personal development Training in order to help me build on my confidence and self-esteem. From day 1 I was hooked! I liked the fact I was made to feel so at ease and the workers at the time helped me to make friends quickly. I liked the fact that I could talk about my story and that everything was completely confidential.

As I grew I continued to attend WEB’s Young Women’s Group each Wednesday evening. As I got older I began to foster a dream…to one day work for WEB myself delivering training and activities to other young women in my area. In May 2015 my dream came true! I am now working for WEB full time as an Apprentice.

I’m really excited to be involved with the 20/20 Challenge and I can’t wait to see what the next year is going to bring.

Members of my team currently consist of Renshaw’s Liverpool, Bennett & Williams Solicitors and DTG Engineering.┬áTo keep an eye on their progress please see our Facebook & Twitter pages.

If you want to be part of a winning team don’t be afraid to get in touch. Let’s ensure WEB’s amazing services continue!
