Women’s Enterprising Breakthrough (also known as WEB Merseyside) is a charity that is a significant part of the community we serve. Without our supporters, we would not be able to ensure the vital work we provide to the local community would continue. We understand that our work is really valued by the service users we support. We therefore take our responsibilities very seriously indeed and that includes the personal data that is shared with us.
We ensure that this data is kept safe and secure and is only used for the purposes for which it was collected. We will never sell or share your data with a third party – we would only share your data when there are safeguarding concerns around you or your family or anyone you know. We would always seek your consent and work with you to address any issues that we felt may result in you or anyone you know becoming a victim of serious violence or harm.
WHAT INFORMATION WILL WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU?
Personal information is any information that can be used to identify you. The information we hold about you and what we use it for depends on your relationship with us. It depends on what is relevant. There may also be statutory requirements for us to hold some personal data, for instance, in case we have to refer your details to statutory bodies such as the Multi Agency Risk Assessment Committee (MARAC).
HOW WILL WE USE IT?
HOW LONG WILL WE RETAIN YOUR INFORMATION
We only retain your information whilst you are accessing our services and for as long as it is needed to support you and maintain our statutory obligations. If you would like more detail, please access our Retention Policy via web.merseyside.org
YOU ARE IN CONTROL
You have control over your data and your preferences. You can contact us at any time to request or change the date we hold and to change the way you want to be contacted.
